1 Night @ Cameron Highland – Part 1

Filed under: Travel & Places — Yatz @ 4:03 am

After some moment of hiatus, I’m back with some interesting posts..

It’s my one day trip to Cameron Highlandthe land of sien-ness– in the past 2 weeks, with Billy and sidekick, Rechelle..

I think I’ll cut the story by narrating the pics below, and be ready with heaps of pics..

We snapped quite some pics..

And I’m going to share most of it with you guys coz the scenery was so serene and mesmerizing..

We reached the entrance of the hilltop, where we can see farms of vegies, strawberries, teas, and all sorts..

If I’m not mistaken, the place is called Kampung Baru or something (somewhere Brinchang)..Can’t really remember..

Then we went all the way up to Equatorial Hotel, which Billy already booked earlier on..

From the Kampung Baru (or something) up to Equatorial Hotel took about 15-20 minutes drive..Imagine..

*More like apartments*

When we reached Equatorial Hotel, suddenly Billy thought of finding another hotel/resort chalet which he heard from his friend..

It’s the Bala’s Chalet, Hotel & Restaurant, somewhere Tanah Rata, which is another side of where we came from (Brinchang)..

But due to the our first time visit (or rather unfamiliar), we didn’t know that there are 2 entrance..One is Brinchang (where we came from) and another one is from Tapah..

Upon asking Billy‘s friend, he said around 15-20 mintues drive downhill from Equatorial Hotel..So we took the road we came from..

Felt kinda weird..Asked around the residents there..It’s actually on the otherside..

So we drove back to Equatorial Hotel (which is 15-20 minutes drive), and on top of that, another 15-20 minutes drive from Equatorial Hotel to Tanah Rata..

Hence, we had wasted around an hour just to look for that secretive Bala’s Chalet..

Bala’s Chalet is so secluded that not any normal human-being would noticed it, if you aren’t really looking for it..

We reached there around 6.30pm and checked-in a room for 3..It costed around RM160 per night, after some bargaining of course..

Then we went into the guest house..

This pic is just a mockery..Don’t set your sight on Billy, but on the picture he’s pointing at instead..

Can you see something fishy.?? Hehehe..It’s actually a pic of orang asli in the nude..Wtf..

I think that’s all for the first part coz I have more pics in hands for other activities..Perhaps I’ll separate them into 4 parts or so..

I had a Langkawi Trip Pentalogy posts, of 3 days 2 nights..This Cameron Highland Trip instalment of just 2 days 1 night is almost equivalent to the Langkawi posts..

Talk about camwhore..Hahaha..

Til then, adios..
